I don't normally blog about tech things on this blog, but this one deserves a special mention methinks. Its called Desktop Earth: you download it, install it and it puts a real time image of the entire earth on your Windows desktop. You can see whats night and whats day and whats cloudy all as a lifelike image that changes.

Blapo Fun Pub Poker is coming to Cornwall.
Following on from successful negotiations with a SW Pub Chain, Steve Hedger Communications Manger of BLAPO POKER is pleased to announce
BLAPO FUN PUB POKER is coming to Cornwall.
Our poker nights are not played for cash but a small returnable winners trophy, we are deliberately not a poker league as we
feel many people cannot attend regularly enough to attend every BLAPO POKER event and therefore may be put off.
No money can be won or lost at our events and we feel that the market for our style of pub poker in Cornwall is huge
We will announce further details and venue locations ASAP.
We are currently undertaking a search for a Regional Director and also Venue Hosts and feel that with our strong links to The Cornish Tourist board our events will prove extremely popular with both locals and tourists.
Having spent the first 5 years of my life in Cornwall and the next 35 missing it, I am particularly pleased that our 20 events planned each week in Cornwall
will be providing both jobs and extra money as well as Fun Social Nights Out with a Game of Poker for the County.
